Table linen rethought
EQUIPE is our new MAGAZIN product and a new type of table linen: colorful tablecloths and runners that can be placed individually or combined with other pieces in the series for longer tables. This provides variety on the dining table and with its fresh and playful appearance, the series makes you want to rediscover the qualities of textiles on the dining table.
EQUIPE was designed by textile designer Julia Dichte. Together with MAGAZIN, she thought about the use and application of table linen in everyday life. We finally developed EQUIPE with the textile weaving mill Tissage Moutet, based in the Basque region of south-west France, where the topic fell on fertile ground. The result is a series of table linen whose different shapes and sizes, range of colors and double-sided use offer almost infinite versatility. Incidentally, the robust material ensures a relaxed time at the dining table, because if something goes wrong, all items in the series are machine washable at 60 °C and can therefore also be used carefree by families with children at the table.
