MARSET - Spanish lighting creations
With a special focus on pioneering technologies, first-class workmanship and high-quality materials, MARSET lights are more than just beautifully designed light sources. The owner-managed company, based in Barcelona, Spain, always has all aspects of light, with its various nuances and effects, in mind. MARSET produced its first luminaires in 1976, after the third generation of the family took the craftsmanship of a smelting workshop that Paco Marset had built up in the 1940s as the starting point for founding the company. Design has played a key role in the development of MARSET designs since the 1990s. MARSET luminaires are refined and contemporary. The constant search for new design and technical directions characterizes the collections. A great deal of curiosity and foresight, both on the part of the internal development team and the international designers with whom MARSET collaborates, results in luminaires of meaningful simplicity. UNIVERSALLEUCHTE FM, for example, the portable, battery-operated luminaire by Spanish designer Inma Bermúdez, is a popular light source thanks to its flexibility. With its small size and charming wooden handle, it does not look like a small high-tech device. All other floor, table, pendant and wall lights from MARSET also impress MAGAZIN with their constantly surprising implementation of new lighting concepts. For MARSET, a beautiful appearance and intelligent technology are not a contradiction in terms, but a requirement that we also have for our range of luminaires. In our stores, we also offer an even larger selection of luminaires from the likeable Spanish manufacturer.
Even more MARSET products and expert advice in our stores
In our stores in Cologne, Stuttgart, Bonn and Munich, you are right in the middle of the world of MAGAZIN products. Take a look at what interests you, touch the products and try them out.
You will recognize our own products at the M, because we believe that there's no such thing as impossible. That's why we make things ourselves that are not available the way we would like them to be. Or we make things that do exist better.
We share a common attitude with all our manufacturers: we sell well-designed products and take a critical look at materials and manufacturing processes.
