RICHARD LAMPERT - between icons and contemporary design

At RICHARD LAMPERT, classic and contemporary design go hand in hand. Lampert is a born "furniture maker", in the fourth generation. He started his own company in 1993 with the reissue of designs by Mies van der Rohe student Herbert Hirche and the original table frame by Egon Eiermann from 1953. Since then, the Stuttgart-based manufacturer has continued to surprise with classics in a new guise. His motto: "As little as possible, as much as necessary." EIERMANN NR. 1, Egon Eiermann's minimalist tubular steel frame, stiffened by diagonal cross struts, is combined with a tabletop to create a versatile table. In the small version as a children's table and recently also in the more advanced version as a folding trestle, the design is still as relevant more than 70 years after its creation as it was back then. At MAGAZIN, it has a firm place both in the stores and in the online store as a universal work and dining table. RICHARD LAMPERT is particularly interested in working with young designers whose designs form a deliberate contrast in the range. Steffen Kehrle, for example, uses a contemporary material with his TRITTHOCKER MONO made of recyclable and durable polyethylene.MAGAZIN has had furniture from RICHARD LAMPERT in its range for many years. We are just as impressed by the classic products as we are by the young designs with their blend of quality craftsmanship and design.

Even more products from RICHARD LAMPERT and expert advice in our stores

  • In our stores in Cologne, Stuttgart, Bonn and Munich, you are right in the middle of the world of MAGAZIN products. Take a look at what interests you, touch the products and try them out.

  • You will recognize our own products at the M, because we believe that there's no such thing as impossible. That's why we make things ourselves that are not available the way we would like them to be. Or we make things that do exist better.

  • We share a common attitude with all our manufacturers: we sell well-designed products and take a critical look at materials and manufacturing processes.
