ERIK is suitable as a frame for work tables, studio tables, or dining tables. The table’s bolted construction also allows for temporary use wherever an additional work or presentation space is needed on short notice. It can also be quickly moved to a new location. The tubular parts of the disassembled frame can be stored to save space.

Breaks with the conventions of solid wood tables: FELDMARK ZWO consists of seven planks that are joined without hardware and held in place by four beech wood wedges. Even the process of slotting the pieces together and securing them with powerful hammer blows creates an archaic experience. Its rough surface remains untamed—neither wax, oil, nor, certainly, any varnish seals the pores here. This minimalist use of materials is combined with an intelligent design and stylistic simplicity.

A practical variation on the original: In 1965, within Egon Eiermann’s circle, a disassemblable version of the original Eiermann table frame was created in the metalworking shop at Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences—an interpretation that did not originate with Egon Eiermann himself but was initiated by one of his assistants. Unlike the original, the crossbar is not positioned at an angle to the room but at a right angle between the side panels.

The “ CONTAINER DS,” with the dimensions of a shipping container, is essentially the archetype of the “ CONTAINER DS ” series. Its rectangular base form can be combined with a wide variety of complementary accessories. Various legs and casters, or the two scaffolding frames, serve as the base. The TARA shelving unit has the same outer contours as the container and can be stacked vertically with it using the connectors included in the delivery. The coat rack frame complements the container to create a functional coat rack.

The LTL table and lounger can serve as either, depending on your needs, and transforms from one to the other in the blink of an eye. This versatility is ideal for small spaces with multiple uses or for work and studio spaces—anywhere where maximum flexibility from such a piece of furniture is desired. Even without the need for convertibility, the table or lounger can be used as a fixed piece of furniture.
