General Information

Discover MAGAZIN products: Collaborating with innovative designers, MAGAZIN develops and produces this unique furniture and home accessories series.

ERIK—a versatile table frame that impresses with its stability. It consists of eight square steel tubes bolted together in a cross pattern at the corners. The outward-facing legs provide ample legroom beneath any tabletop placed on it. In terms of design, the freely selectable dimensions of the tabletops allow for a wide range of variations: overhang on one or all sides (such as 220 × 90 cm), flush with the outer edges of the frame (147 × 77 cm), or even set back to expose the joint construction (140 × 70 cm). The tabletops—which are not included—can be freely combined in any material and almost any size. We recommend the linoleum tabletops from our product range.

ERIK Table Frame

ERIK is suitable as a frame for work tables, studio tables, or dining tables. The table’s bolted construction also allows for temporary use wherever an additional work or presentation space is needed on short notice. It can also be quickly moved to a new location. The tubular components of the disassembled frame can be stored in a space-saving manner.

We appreciate the design of this versatile and universally applicable table frame, which pairs well with other pieces. The archetypal corner construction is not new and has a pleasantly familiar, recognizable feel. For centuries, it has been known primarily as a wooden structure, used by generations of carpenters. We are most familiar with it from the designs of the Dutch carpenter and architect Gerrit Rietveld.

We deliver the frame disassembled, with rubber pads for tabletops on the crossbars, adjustable feet for the table legs, and through-holes that also allow tabletops to be screwed into place.
