All set to go green: planting now
Now it's time to plant. Flowers in the garden, herbs from the balcony: the big planting has begun. We are right in the middle of it with tools, pots and co. The planters are ready, the soil is (still) in the bag and with the STADTGEMÜSE book we are starting to grow vegetables with a plan.
Balcony raised bed galvanized rollable
Compactly built on castors, this raised bed offers the opportunity to grow herbs and salads on the balcony. Made from galvanized sheet steel, it is completely weatherproof and durable, yet still light enough to be moved around using the two large PU wheels at the front. Even when filled with soil, the raised bed can be easily maneuvered using the sturdy wooden handle, while the feet at the back increase stability. The location is therefore not fixed, as this raised bed model can be moved to a suitable place on the balcony at any time depending on the incidence of light and the position of the sun (or shade). The base tray lowers towards the center so that excess water (or rainwater) can drain away easily. A storage area is suspended underneath the planter box across the entire width, where hand tools and gardening gloves, vegetable fertilizer or empty plant containers can be stored temporarily.
Water station Waterworks
WATERWORKS creates order around the water connection in the garden or on the balcony and is ideal as a small storage and work surface. The perforated wall, together with the three S-hooks supplied, can be used to hang up tools, for example, and the bucket supplied fits snugly into the recess of the weatherproof powder-coated small wall unit. A rolled-up garden hose (not included) can be hung from the ends of the tubes on the side. This means that everything you need is always to hand. In addition to the necessary installation material, the scope of delivery includes a tap (1/2") integrated into the furniture. Using a piece of hose and the supplied garden hose connection (1/2"), this is connected to a tap, which must be located nearby.
