THOUSAND, the name of the young company contains a commitment that inspires us: the team around founder Gloria wants to convince cyclists who would not normally wear a helmet for style reasons to wear bicycle helmets. Gloria tells the THOUSAND story as follows: "As a die-hard cyclist, I was never a fan of cycle helmets. They were too bulky, too "sci-fi", too cumbersome. But after a friend of mine died in a cycling accident, I had a complete rethink. And I wanted as many people as possible to rethink with me: I scraped together all my money and set up THOUSAND together with friends. With the aim of saving the lives of 1000 people". THOUSAND wants to do more than just protect the heads of as many cyclists as possible. The helmets are visually appealing with an attractive shell and well-chosen colors. Many intelligent details, such as safety-tested magnetic closures, make it clear how seriously THOUSAND takes its mission. We particularly appreciate how well function and design harmonize.
