Admittedly: We have a particular soft spot for furniture that perfectly balances aesthetics and practicality. And we love the stories behind them, the creative process that masterfully combines beauty and utility. The IRION sideboard tells of Swiss precision and the discovery of subtle color tones, the LAMPADINA table lamp of the humorous, playful signature of its designer Achille Castiglioni. Not all of them have a big name behind them, but they have a long life ahead of them in our range.
PENDANT LIGHT SPLÜGEN BRÄU
Splügen Bräu pendant light
Achille and Pier Giaccomo Castiglioni designed this futuristic pendant light for the Splügen Bräu brewery in Milan, which was built in 1960 and demolished in the 1980s. The brothers also designed other objects for the pub, including mirrors, furniture and glassware. The luminaire was therefore originally part of an overall concept.
