MAWA - brilliant lighting effect in a functional guise
A bit like the well-known story of the Gallic village: a small lighting manufacturer from Brandenburg supplies high-tech products and outperforms the big players on the lighting market ... In the meantime, the small crew of the MAWA brand around its light-enthusiastic founder and doyen Martin Wallroth has become an indispensable force in lighting design for exhibition, museum and trade fair stand lighting.MAWA Design has stood for high-quality lighting solutions with a special focus on the use of selected materials, high-quality workmanship and a clear design language for a timelessly beautiful look since 1977. In Langerwisch near Potsdam, MAWA operates a unique blend of design studio and manufactory in the renovated Palmhof, a listed building. Here, planning, development and production go hand in hand. The young design team at MAWA Design loves to play with unusual shapes and materials. In addition to individual luminaires for private and business premises, the Brandenburg-based think tank also develops professional spotlights and lighting systems for business premises and corridors. The EINTOPF wall and ceiling luminaire, for example, impresses with its simplicity. It has been a permanent fixture in the range at MAGAZIN for many years. The WITTENBERG spotlight system impressively proves that functional lighting does not have to look technical. The unobtrusive series offers convincing solutions for almost every application situation. MAWA luminaires convince MAGAZIN completely, both in design, material, surface and detail as well as in the execution of the luminaire bodies and lighting technology. We carry a selection of the range in our webshop, the entire MAWA luminaire range can be found in the MAGAZIN stores, including expert lighting advice.

In our stores in Cologne, Stuttgart, Bonn and Munich, you are right in the middle of the world of MAGAZIN products. Take a look at what interests you, touch the products and try them out.
You will recognize our own products at the M, because we believe that there's no such thing as impossible. That's why we make things ourselves that are not available the way we would like them to be. Or we make things that do exist better.
We share a common attitude with all our manufacturers: we sell well-designed products and take a critical look at materials and manufacturing processes.
