The furniture manufacturer was founded more than 70 years ago. It initially produced simple, affordable wooden chairs. Inspired by Scandinavian design, the company owners at the time adapted the straightforward design language from the north and began collaborating with designers from the Netherlands. Today, designers such as Jan des Bouvrie, Dick Spierenburg, Lex Pott and Scholten & Baijings shape the designs of the manufacturer from Culemborg near Utrecht. GELDERLAND is committed to the highest standards in terms of seating comfort, workmanship and durability. To live up to this promise, the company relies on craftsmanship rather than mass production. The seating furniture with its understated, clear design and functional benefits is therefore produced in-house.
