ARTEMIDE - Divine radiance

ARTEMIDE - Divine radiance

ARTEMIDE, the Italian manufacturer named after the goddess Artemis, has its headquarters in Pregnana near Milan and is an established name in international luminaire design. The company, founded in the 1960s by an aerodynamics engineer, is highly innovative in its design and use of materials, with a particular focus on maximum efficiency and minimum consumption of resources. ARTEMIDE's success story began with the first "Alfa" luminaire by Sergio Mazza in 1959. The functional and forward-looking design is still a trademark of ARTEMIDE today. Lamps such as "Polluce" by Enzo Mari and Anna Fasolis and "Tizio" by Richard Sapper have become just as iconic as "Tolomeo", the task and table lamp designed by Michele de Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina in 1987. The luminaire with its flexibly adjustable articulated arm and ingenious cable pull system is as well-known as it is tried and tested. Today, ARTEMIDE is a byword for "Made in Italy" design. The special corporate culture combines lighting design with a scientific approach. For example, the company works together with architects, sociologists and cultural scientists - with the aim of developing progressive and sustainable products. The ARTEMIDE family of luminaires is extensive - and in addition to the tried and tested classics, new designs with a creative implementation of new lighting technology ensure optimal lighting. We have been working with ARTEMIDE in our stores for many years and are happy to provide advice on the manufacturer's entire range.
