MAGAZIN is a retailer with attitude, ideas and a concept. And has been for over 50 years. What began in 1971 as a small revolution is still as powerful and surprising today: in the composition of our selected range and in our commitment as a producer of self-developed furniture and furnishings. MAGAZIN-History
MAGAZIN was founded in Stuttgart over 50 years ago. A store, an idea, a program formed an innovative company with stubbornness and perseverance. In the beginning there was criticism. You could call it discernment. Immanuel Kant speaks of the power of judgment. In the spirit of the protest movement, MAGAZIN was founded in Stuttgart in 1971. When a young generation set out at the end of the sixties to change conditions around the world, they did what generations before them had already done.
