Grow vegetables, garden together, create food sovereignty

Green islands in the middle of the city: for more community and independence. Especially in the hectic hustle and bustle between high-rises and street noise, it is huge: the longing for a spot of green, a place to relax, a place to exchange. The longing to make a contribution to climate protection, to be able to provide for oneself, and thus to become a little more independent. With the project "Vegetable Heroes", the two authors have created a framework for urban local supply and nature experience, simply for "doing it yourself". It lets people and their food production grow together in a whole new way. The crunchiest and most colorful fruits and vegetables come directly from the immediate neighborhood, right in the middle of the city. And social contact happens along the way. The result is a colorful mix of different people, wild nature and the freshest vegetables.
