RAL colors have provided a globally recognized, standardized colour system for 100 years. The basic idea is the uniform communication of color tones. This is particularly important in design, construction and industry, where exact color reproduction is crucial, even across different trades.

To mark the 100th anniversary of RAL colors, the Dutch design studio Raw Color has created a graphically revised anniversary edition of the RAL color fan K7. The limited edition RAL COLOR FAN K7 - EDITION RAW COLOR shows all 216 shades of the RAL CLASSIC palette - clearly structured and reliably reproducible. The design elements take up historical fields of application of the RAL color world - from industry to infrastructure to product design. Five glossy color fields are presented per page, painted on a water base. The back lists the corresponding color codes and names in eight languages.

Thanks to its compact format, the RAL COLOR PANEL K7 - EDITION RAW COLOR fits in a pocket, toolbox or design folder - ideal for quick color matching on the go or at the workplace. The anniversary product thus becomes a functional tool, an inspiration in the design process - and also a beautiful object on the desk.

The printed inks are low in solvents and odor. The water-based lacquer used is more UV-resistant than nitro lacquer and provides better protection against yellowing. The lid is made from 100% recycled polypropylene waste from industrial production. Like all RAL color samples, this edition is also manufactured in Germany.
