With the presentation of the first wide-body aircraft, air traffic developed rapidly in the 1960s - towards a much larger scale. As a result, all processes relating to air traffic had to be rethought. And at an international level. With this goal in mind, the airlines Air France(A), UTA(T), Lufthansa(L), Alitalia(A) and Sabena(S) came together to form the ATLAS Group. In addition to infrastructure and a wide variety of processes, all on-board systems and components in the aircraft were standardized - the ATLAS standard for galleys and trolleys is also the result of this collaboration. It enables ideal use of the limited space and optimum coordination with the use by the on-board personnel.
