The task chairs in the D1 series ensure optimum seating comfort thanks to their delicate, sophisticated design and minimal use of materials. In collaboration with chair specialist WAGNER, Stefan Diez has further developed the Dondola® seat joint and translated it into the D1 swivel chair family. The special rubber joint in the aluminum housing under the seat ensures that the seat construction can move dynamically in all directions. Thanks to the design of the mesh-covered tubular steel frame, the seat shell adapts perfectly to the overall sitting position and also encourages the user to sit more actively and dynamically. Height-adjustable, equipped with armrests and soft castors for hard floors, the D1 PRO uses a steeper backrest angle to create a more upright sitting position, which is particularly beneficial at computer workstations.

The chair is supplied in three parts: star base, gas strut and seat shell. Assembly requires no tools and is extremely simple: simply attach the gas strut to the star base and the seat shell to the gas strut.
