The luminaire body is made of aluminum, masterfully and precisely shaped into concentric circles - inspired by the gentle movement of sine waves. The satin-matt surface not only makes the circles stand out discreetly, but also creates a fascinating interplay of light and shadow - even when switched off.

With W171 ALMA, the Stockholm-based architectural duo Tham & Videgård have created a modern luminaire that provides particularly atmospheric, indirect light. Thanks to its slender proportions, it is ideal for rooms with low ceilings. It can be arranged individually or in groups - and always creates a magical presence.
