After all, Konstantin Grcic designed his MAYDAY luminaire so that it can hang, stand and illuminate almost anywhere. A lighting tool - ready for use and mobile. Now the luminaire has been given a fixed place, as befits a tool: for returning from assignments or simply as an ideal position wherever light is needed.

THING_03 is one of the "things" that designer Konstantin Grcic produces himself under his own label 25kg: exactly as he conceived it and free from compromises with the furniture industry.

The wall bracket is made of stainless steel, making it correspondingly robust and giving MAYDAY its rightful place both indoors and outdoors. And it communicates this too: the folded stainless steel plate and pin are reminiscent of the securing post supports and steel sleeves used in construction. Two supplied screws and dowels hold it in place and remain visible - pleasantly unpretentious, just as MAGAZIN likes it.

25kg. The name of the Berlin label reads like a weight - which its founder, one of the most influential German designers, Konstantin Grcic, expressly likes. After all, this is indication enough that something physical is involved. The fact that 25 stands for the year the company was founded and kg for Grcic's initials is as laconic as the products that the designer produces under this name: "Things. Things. Just as he conceived them, free of compromise and designed to stimulate discourse. Playful, experimental and above all: honest. Sounds like MAGAZIN. And cooperation: The Things are only available at 25kg and at MAGAZIN.
