Variable bed

Adjustable in width and infinitely variable: from a single bed to a double bed - that is the main feature of our VARIABEL bed. The construction consists of two components. On the one hand, two double wooden U-profiles lying on the floor and interlocking with each other, which are adjusted to the desired width. On top of these rests a laminated beech wood slat system that can be pulled apart like an accordion. This is easy thanks to the flexibility of the upended material. Fixtures on the individual components secure the upper and lower parts. The resulting robust construction also offers space for large mattresses and their loads. The components can be assembled without tools and in just a few simple steps. The bed, which is also impressive in terms of its minimalist aesthetics, is manufactured in Europe. Its wooden materials are left in their natural state. Max. load weight: 250 kg.
