Technical experiment - spectacular result: FiDU technology, invented by Polish architect and researcher Oskar Zieta, uses air pressure to shape metal. Stability, durability and lightness are the result of this construction method. The latter in particular was the main inspiration for ULTRALEGGERA - one of the lightest chairs in the world. The name ULTRALEGGERA is reminiscent of the featherweight of a wooden chair by Gio Ponti called Superleggera and is both a reference and a tribute to the great designer Gio Ponti.

Despite its light weight, the chair is robust and stable and can be used both indoors and outdoors. Its discreet shape and material make it easy to combine and can also be used at wooden tables, for example. Its frame construction is double-shell and shaped using FiDU technology. This is the main design feature and gives the chair its stability. The seat and backrest are made of perforated sheet metal. The aluminium chair has a special, matt powder-coated surface that resembles an anodized finish. This makes the texture of the material slightly visible - an interesting effect. The seat is slightly hollowed out, the seat angle is correct and provides good seating comfort.
