The BERNINOX toothbrush was developed by a Swiss design duo together with dental experts and is an alternative to the commercially available disposable brushes made of plastic or even bamboo: it consists of an ergonomically shaped and durable handle element made of 316L surgical stainless steel and a replaceable plastic brush head. This means that only the brush head is thrown away - the handle stays, and for a very long time. The brush heads have different types of bristles for effective cleaning and are clicked into the handle element with a simple movement. You can find suitable replacement brushes in our range. Practical: The handle element can easily be cleaned in the dishwasher. The toothbrush is made in Switzerland, the manufacturer does not use long transport routes for the selected steel and the base of the brush heads is made of high-quality ocean-bound plastic from the Swiss company Tide Ocean AG.

Ocean-bound plastic is obtained from plastic waste that is collected on coasts up to 50 km from the sea or ocean. This waste poses a particularly serious threat to the ecosystem due to its proximity to the water. Processing it protects the oceans and contributes to the establishment of a circular economy. In the case of Berninox, the plastic waste comes from the coastal areas of South-East Asia and is processed into high-quality plastics by the company Tide Ocean AG in Switzerland.
