The popular SONNENGLAS® in a small version: the glass of this variant holds 250 ml. The principle of this solar lamp is as simple as it is ingenious: during the day, the highly efficient solar and light module integrated into the lid of the glass container stores solar energy, which can be used for lighting in the dark. Ideal as atmospheric lighting on an outdoor dining table, windowsill or balcony parapet. This technically enhanced version has an additional switch, a colored charge level indicator, is also dimmable and splash-proof. The glass container under the light unit provides distance from the illuminated surface, can be filled decoratively and creates a small island of light that can even be used as a reading light in the immediate vicinity. A small bracket on the screw cap serves as a magnetic switch. When this is activated, the light switches on and off automatically from a certain level of illuminance, for example at sunrise and sunset. The integrated sun module is also fully functional without the glass container and can be used as a mobile light. It can be switched on and off using the control button and also has an emergency light function in which the LEDs flash. SONNENGLAS® is produced in a fair trade project in South Africa and enjoys a cult following there. For additional charging of the batteries, there is a USB-C connection in the light unit (the charging cable is not included) with fast charging: 10 hours of light duration after just 10 minutes of charging.
