Versatile piece of furniture, beautiful bench and slim table: BTB is all in one, because its components can be transformed from a bench into a table in no time at all. How does it work? The short leg of the frame (not included in the scope of delivery), which clicks under the top in a single movement, can be used as a frame under a bench at standard seat height and its long leg as a frame for a slim table. In this way, a bench made from the BTB elements can be used elegantly in hallways as seating and storage. A group of two benches and a table functions as a dining area on the balcony. And thanks to the stackability, robustness and weather resistance of both the tops and the frames, BTB is a tried and tested solution wherever many benches and tables need to be placed - space-saving and easy to handle. If a wider table top is required, the tops can be joined together on their long sides with the help of elastic bands. BTB is therefore much more than just high-quality beer garden furniture. When it came to the material used, we opted for a three-layer board made of Douglas fir and larch, which corresponds to the design with its visible layering and characteristics. This panel material is used as a robust and durable building and construction timber, has a corresponding surface and edge finish and exhibits unevenness and roughness. It cannot be compared with furniture wood for interior use, but this is precisely what gives it its character. Michael von Matuschka is the designer of BTB. As an architect in Berlin, he also works on the realization of experimental housing projects. One of these projects is entitled "Mischen Possible" - also a fitting working title for the BTB furniture project. All the necessary fittings are fitted under the top on delivery. We supply attachable feet with the frames to protect more sensitive surfaces. The maximum load weight for the assembled furniture (top incl. frame) is: 320 kg.

Notice:

Environmental influences may cause fine cracks in the wood surface, but these do not affect the durability and stability of the board.
