General Information
The rectangular version from the SLIT side table series by HAY. Like a fold made of cardboard, the 10 mm thick frame made of CNC-milled molded plywood forms the eponymous base. The design of SLIT is based on the traditional Japanese art of origami paper folding. This small, appealing piece of furniture is made from FSC-certified wood in Europe. The table's lacquer is water-based and therefore low in harmful substances. There are glides on the underside of the frame to protect sensitive floors.
