LIGHTSKIN is a seat post and bicycle rear light in one - and the new model is approved in Germany without restrictions according to the StVZO. The 750 mAh lithium polymer battery is installed inside the support and rechargeable via micro USB. Disassembly of the weatherproof post is not necessary, because the micro USB access is located on the saddle clamp. The included micro USB cable can be connected to laptop, smartphone charger or power bank. LIGHTSKIN features five bright LED lights that provide glare-free visibility from any angle. The lower two LED diodes can be recessed into the seat tube if required (depending on frame and body size) and switched off to save energy. The rear light is controlled by the second LED button: this allows it to be switched on and off, and also to switch between 3-LED or 5-LED mode. With a light duration of 10 (5 diodes) to 15 hours (3 diodes), many rides at night are possible. The seatpost offered by us has the very common measure 27.2 mm and can be replaced with a few simple steps against an existing support of the same diameter.
