This strong neodymium magnet performs reliable message and readiness services on magnetized stainless or raw steel walls - and not only by attaching shopping lists, excursion messages ("I'm off to get cigarettes"), postcards ("Sunny greetings from the end of the world"), photos, children's drawings and other memorabilia to a ferritic surface. Its special qualities are more evident near the front door of the house or apartment: placed there, for example on our raw steel magnetic strip, it also functions as a veritable coat hook without any problems. Although its adhesive force of 100 newtons is manageable, the size (Ø 43 mm) and the nature (the base is coated with a thermoplastic rubber) of the adhesive surface, on which the shear force depends, are decisive for its function as a resilient coat hook. At 38 newtons, this is very high and ensures that the hook does not move even under a load of up to 3.8 kilograms.

These magnets are extremely powerful and must absolutely not come within range of a pacemaker! The same applies to magnetic data banks, mechanical clocks or compasses. Make sure they dont collide, especially from a distance – they might splinter.
