The SAPIENS shelving unit, designed by Bruno Rainaldi, is a true design classic. This free-standing bookcase impresses with its functionality. The simple yet eye-catching look draws the focus to the essentials: the books and decorative objects to be displayed.

Made of epoxy-coated steel, the shelf consists of a central, rectangular column. The 14 evenly spaced, removable shelves offer sufficient space to present your favorite items in an appropriate manner. Each shelf can hold a maximum load of 3.5 kg. The shelf can hold up to 70 books, depending on their thickness. As soon as the books are put away, the structure disappears visually, creating an individual overall look based on your personal reading style.

Thanks to its minimalist exterior, SAPIENS is almost only visible as a stack of books in the living room, bedroom, hallway or office. The black/stainless steel high-gloss polished version is produced exclusively for MAGAZIN®! The black base of the shelf is fitted with an elaborately crafted, highly polished stainless steel plate.

The shelf is delivered disassembled. The base plate is attached to the column with two screws. Screws and tools for fastening are included in the scope of delivery.
