High-quality light tube with professional lighting technology for walkways, corridors, bathrooms, above counters and tables. The housing, co-extruded from polycarbonate and sealed with stainless steel caps, houses a powerful, linear LED strip whose light is glare-free in the longitudinal direction and directed downwards with the aid of aluminum slats. A reflective aluminum reflector inserted above the light source additionally amplifies the light. The result is well-dosed, wide-area light that is pleasing to the eye and ideal for diffuse illumination. PURCELL can be hung individually or connected in series to form several luminaires. The transparent tube reveals the technical parts of the luminaire - light unit, aluminium louvre and reflector - and thus ensures the technical and industrial character of the luminaire. The mounting solution for the iconic luminaire is as simple as it is beautiful: two stainless steel band clamps grip around the tube at both ends and are suspended in two steel cables hanging from the ceiling. In addition to the luminaire itself, the cable is also worth a closer look: the conductive, tinned copper braiding is located under the transparent sheathing. Practical: the built-in LED strip can be replaced by the manufacturer. Two bracket sets, 300 cm of steel cable and a cable ceiling outlet are included in the scope of delivery. Manufactured in France, the luminaire contains LEDs. Nominal wattage: 14 W (silver version) or 17 W (black version), color temperature: 2,700 K, luminous flux: 1,500 lm, color rendering: CRI >80, dimmable. Cable: L 100 cm.

The tubular luminaires have been domesticated, so to speak, and rededicated or redesigned as wall and ceiling luminaires. The French manufacturer's home lighting range now includes a whole spectrum of different lighting solutions. The luminaires are manufactured in Châtillon-sur-Saône in the Vosges, where SAMMODE was founded in 1927 as the "Société d'Application des Méthodes Modernes d'Éclairage électrique".
