Like the lampshade, the central spherical light body is made of opal glass and houses a dimmable LED light source that provides efficient, warm white light for room or table lighting. The light bulb was long regarded as the epitome of light. W202 resurrects its archetypal form and fills it with new, modern and more efficient light and life. Designed by David Chipperfields, one of the most renowned contemporary architects, the luminaire contains LED light sources.
