Notebook The Happy Book

One of the superstars of graphic design, New York-based Stefan Sagmeister, researched the theme of happiness, exhibited his "Happy Show" at the MAK (Museum of Applied Arts) in Frankfurt and designed this notebook to match. Made of sunny yellow (Pantone 115), velvety soft recycled leather, filled with 256 pages of Munken paper with a fine dot grid. The cut decoration is beautiful and unusual - a kaleidoscopic pattern runs once completely around the book block and spine. The perfect eye and hand candy - mood enhancing and perhaps happiness inducing.

For spontaneous impressions, thoughts and ideas, brief notes and quick sketches. A notebook close to your heart grows over time into a witness of your biography. The practical and dear companion becomes increasingly valuable and more personal with every note, however fleeting – and every coffee stain. Inside, you find fine Swedish paper, for the most part, adorned by a dotted print pattern equally suitable for writing and drawing. By and large, the notebooks feature the binding method resulting in the highest quality: thread stitching. When you flip one of these books open, you will realise the difference.
