Notebook The Happy Book

One of the superstars of graphic design, New York-based Stefan Sagmeister, researched the subject of happiness, exhibited his "Happy Show" at Frankfurt's MAK (Museum of Applied Arts) and designed this notebook to match. Made of sun-yellow (Pantone 115), velvety-soft, leather fiber fabric (Lefa) (made from recycled leather remnants and natural latex in a resource-saving way) filled with 256 pages of Munken paper with a fine dot grid. The cut decoration is beautiful and unusual - a kaleidoscopic pattern runs all the way around the book block and spine. The perfect feast for the eyes and hands - mood-enhancing and perhaps also happiness-inducing.

For ideas of varying quality, spontaneous impressions, thoughts, moods, fleeting notes or sketches. Over time, good notebooks grow into individual contemporary witnesses, useful and dear companions and become more and more valuable and personal with every fleeting note, but also with every coffee stain. Notebooks from NUUNA are characterized by their high-quality workmanship and binding. The inside is made of Swedish fine paper, usually printed with a subtle dot grid that is equally suitable for writing and drawing. It is just subtle enough to provide a guide without affecting the typeface or drawing. The design of the inside pages of some NUUNA books differs, which we describe separately. They are bound using the highest quality binding method, thread stitching, which gives the books a perfect "open feel". Bound in special and imaginatively designed materials. Their covers are robust and hard-wearing and protect the contents permanently and reliably.
