When the mobile power supply becomes an architectural object: with NOMAD, Swedish manufacturer FORMING FUNCTION brings the multiple socket out from behind the sofa and table and emancipates what is probably the most hidden and at the same time most used product to become a well thought-out, well-designed and handcrafted player on desks, side tables and the like.

The attractive power strips have either one or three Schuko sockets, the second or fourth socket is equipped with two USB-C connections. The housing is made of aluminum and designed so that all components remain accessible, repairable and replaceable. Progress is also included: if the USB-C interface is no longer the connection of choice at some point, the insert can be replaced with one equipped with new technologies. This means that the NOMAD sockets are designed to last a lifetime. And if they do have to be disposed of, all components can be separated from each other and recycled individually. Another practical feature is the magnetic underside of the connector strips, which gives the mobile system a firm hold on all ferromagnetic surfaces. For all other surfaces, a metal plate with a self-adhesive surface is included with the strip. The 3 m long cable ensures freedom of movement.
