Napkin Equipe (2 pieces)

EQUIPE series napkins complement tablecloths or runners. Two pieces each in the set complete the table linen either in the same color play or are combined in color and thus bring a cheerful mood to the table. The use is quite harmless, because the napkins are also made of 100 percent cotton and are therefore machine washable. Also suitable as tablecloths on cupboards or trays.

Textile designer Julia Dichte has been thinking about the use and application of table linen in everyday life with MAGAZIN. Together with the textile weaving mill Tissage Moutet, based in the Basque country in the southwest of France, where the theme fell on fertile ground, we developed EQUIPE. The result is a series of table linen in various shapes and sizes, which can be combined individually or several times in different order. In addition, the range of colors and the double-sided use allow an almost infinite variety of applications. The cotton yarns, dyed through in ten colors, are woven in such a way that three different basic colors of the fabric are produced with alternating colors of the stripes. Technically, it reads like this: an eight-ply twill weave, also known as diamond twill, forms an eight-ply satin weave in the stripes. Thanks to a weft- and warp-heavy weave, the two-sidedness is created. The robust fabric is machine-washable at 60 °C and can therefore be used by families with children at the table without any worries. EQUIPE is a new kind of table linen. With its modularity it provides variety on the dining table and with its fresh and playful appearance it makes you want to rediscover the qualities of textile on the dining table.
