Microplane grater fine

This fine grater can be used to grate hard spices, citrus fruit, etc. and is ideal for use at the table.

These graters are razor-sharp. The numerous little cutting edges are not simply punched out of the metal but are accurately cut by means of photo-etching. This guarantees that blades stay ultra-sharp even after frequent use. Citrus zest, for example, is sliced rather than grated or rubbed, so that it retains its flavour, aroma and vitamins. Chocolate can be grated into fine flakes – as can hard cheese, potatoes and vegetables – without losing its structure.
The graters are made by Microplane in the US (the individual parts, however, are assembled in China). All metal parts are stainless steel; the finely crafted handles are made of walnut wood from Kentucky.
