The mattress specially developed for our HANS daybed - but which can also be used for other beds - has a core made of AIRTEX cold foam with a density of 50 kg/m³. This makes it a relatively firm mattress. The open-pored structure of the breathable material offers ideal ventilation. The 7-zone division with longitudinal and cross sections has a reinforced middle zone in the lumbar vertebrae area. The main idea behind the development of this product, which was produced especially for MAGAZIN, was to offer a mattress that is also suitable as a seat cushion due to its height and firmness and that also has a cover fabric that differs from classic mattress covers that are hidden under bed linen. The cover fabric of this mattress is not only hard-wearing and washable, but also has the aesthetic qualities of an upholstery fabric, so it does not look like an uncovered mattress. It is made of 100% cotton with a 330 g/sqm quilted filling of sheep's wool sewn in. The bottom edge of the mattress has a three-sided zipper. The cover is easy to remove and machine washable at 30 ºC. This version is produced exclusively for MAGAZIN.
