Mattress Standard to Daybed Hans

The mattress, which was specially developed for our daybed HANS - but can also be used for other beds - has a core made of the so-called cold foam AIRTEX with a density of 50 kg/m³. This makes it a relatively firm mattress. The open-pored structure of the breathable material provides ideal ventilation. The 7-zone division with longitudinal and cross sections has a reinforced middle zone in the lumbar region.

The guiding idea in the development of this product, produced especially for MAGAZIN, was to offer a mattress that, thanks to its height and firmness, would also be suitable as a cushion for a piece of seating furniture, and which also has a cover fabric that is different from classic mattress covers hidden under bedding. And so the cover fabric of this mattress is not only durable and washable, but it also has the aesthetic qualities of an upholstery fabric, so it does not look like an uncovered mattress. It is made of 100% cotton, with a sewn-in quilted filling of sheep's wool 330 g/sqm. At the bottom edge, the mattress is equipped with a three-sided zipper. The cover is easily removable and machine washable at 30 ºC.
