This Italian ice cream maker is unmistakably more than just a household appliance, it is a machine for professional use, which inevitably makes it a serious competitor for the gelateria around the corner - without, however, having to fear a loss of sales, because the quantity produced remains manageable for households. The quality, however, is of rare, first-class quality; as a rule, the gourmet will only find something comparable in top gastronomy. The machine has been built almost unchanged for forty years by Musso in Mortara, Lombardy, a specialist in compact professional machines. Incidentally, demand at Musso clearly exceeds capacity. It would be possible to produce more, but rigorous quality assurance sensibly prohibits such temptations. This means that even we were unfortunately only able to order a small stock with great difficulty; the usual and, from our point of view, unbearable pressure to make a quick purchase decision is therefore exceptionally justified here. The easy-to-use, extremely reliable compressor machine produces creamy ice cream with the finest ice crystals (which are imperceptible even to sensitive tongues). A home-made ice cream that is second to none, without any "additives" to improve consistency and shelf life, and therefore extremely delicious. Unlike ice cream makers for domestic use, the housing is made entirely of stainless steel (including the stirring spatula, of course). The powerful motor can cope with the heaviest loads and continuous operation, keeping the mixer stoically on course even when competitors on the market have long since given up. You will test the machine's endurance very often once you have licked ice cream - we are sure of that. And you'll also be happy to accept that it doesn't need to be hidden away in the kitchen; unlike many other ice cream makers, it's far too attractive for that.

As befits a professional

Cleaning is easy because the entire upper part with the ice cream container is seamlessly formed from one piece and the stirrer can be removed in seconds using a screw. Of course, there is no cooling contact agent as with removable ice bins. We almost forgot: "ice cream machine" is a very subtle understatement, as in addition to fruit and milk ice cream, the finest sorbets and frozen yoghurt can also be produced, in any degree of firmness. And if you want to prove to the gelateria that you can make several types of ice cream in one day, we recommend our stainless steel storage containers. The ice cream will keep for up to a day without any great loss of quality, but will become a little firmer depending on the freezer.

Creamy. Vanilla ice cream

The classic cream ice cream is very easy to make - vanilla ice cream. For around eight portions, mix 1/8 l milk, 200 ml cream, 80 g sugar, 2 sachets of vanilla sugar and 2 eggs in a blender until smooth. Pour into the ice cream maker and freeze for 20-30 minutes until the desired consistency is reached. Tip: It is advisable to chill the ice cream mixture in the fridge for some time before preparing it.
