Fatxada napkin

Fatxada napkin
- Graphic pattern
- Traditional Basque craftsmanship
- Made in France
General Information
A homage to the facades of Basque half-timbered houses - only interpreted in reverse: Instead of colored lines on a white background, white lines contrast with a colored background. Sometimes arranged horizontally, sometimes vertically in square blocks, they pick up on the characteristic geometry of traditional Basque half-timbering.
A graphic design that breaks up the formal severity of classic striped patterns. Whether as a napkin, central blanket or overlay - FATXADA, Portuguese for "facade", plays with colors, lines and contrasts just like the Basque houses.
Made according to traditional Basque craftsmanship, the napkins are produced in the Tissage Moutet workshop in Orthez, France - a piece of modern tableware with character and history.
The matching tablecloth is also available.
