ESGE magic wand P 350 professional

The stick blender or immersion blender has had a stellar career since its invention in the 1950s. And rightly so: because the amazingly simple device is enormously versatile with a minimum of accessories, and unlike the stand mixer, it is always at hand and, above all, can be used directly on the stove and in the pots. Thus, it is also one of the few household appliances imported from residential to commercial kitchens.

Invented and first built the ESGE wand mixer in the mid-1950s by the precision engineers of the company ESGE Bamix in Thurgau, Switzerland. The original remained far superior to all replicas. The current professional version has an extended drive shaft and can therefore also be used in slim and tall vessels. The extremely high-speed (up to 22,000 rpm), 350 W motor is designed to easily handle five minutes of short-time operation at maximum speed. The metal bar driving the tools is a high-precision component with minimal tolerances. The tools are made of stainless steel and are automatically centered precisely by a patented device when they are mounted, so they can hardly tilt. Even with heavy use, the wand thus has a long life: More than 20 years old devices arrive today at the manufacturer for maintenance and are repaired.
