Elgar wall light

High-quality light tube with professional lighting technology for wall mounting and free positioning in the room. The housing, co-extruded from polycarbonate and sealed with stainless steel caps, houses a linear LED strip whose light is glare-free and directed downwards using angled aluminum blades. A reflective aluminum reflector inserted at the rear additionally amplifies the light. The result is a well-dosed, flat light that is pleasing to the eye and ideal for use as additional lighting or a reading lamp next to the sofa, bed or in an alcove. The transparent tube reveals the technical parts of the luminaire - light unit, aluminium louvre and reflector - and thus ensures the technical and industrial character of the luminaire. The mounting solution for the iconic luminaire is as simple as it is beautiful: it is inserted into two stainless steel clips that can be mounted on the wall and fixed in place using the integrated buckles. ELGAR has a 200 cm long cable with a Euro plug, so it can be positioned anywhere in the room. The light is switched on and dimmed continuously using the round push-button on the top. Practical: the built-in LED strip can be replaced by the manufacturer. Made in France, the luminaire contains LEDs. Rated power: 5 W (silver-colored version) or 7 W (petrol-colored version), color temperature: 2,700 K, luminous flux: 430 lm, color rendering: CRI >80, dimmable, protection rating: IP65. Cable: L 200 cm, Euro plug (type C).

The French luminaire manufacturer SAMMODE originally specialized in lighting solutions that are used wherever it is too hot, too cold, too dusty, too wet or even explosive for conventional luminaires - in industrial plants, laboratories, cold rooms and all outdoor areas, but also in museums and libraries. Because the special aesthetics of the tubular luminaires, which are made of glass or polycarbonate and encapsulated in stainless steel depending on their intended use, aroused the interest of architects, SAMMODE has also been making a name for itself for several years with luminaires for the home. The tubular luminaires have been domesticated, so to speak, and rededicated or redesigned as wall and ceiling luminaires. The French manufacturer's home lighting range now includes a whole spectrum of different lighting solutions. The luminaires are manufactured in Châtillon-sur-Saône in the Vosges, where SAMMODE was founded in 1927 as the "Société d'Application des Méthodes Modernes d'Éclairage électrique".
