Easter eggs stainless steel gold plated

When outside the window nature gradually comes back to blooming life, these stainless steel pendants from Schwäbisch-Gmünd bring spring-like splendor into the home. Their floral motifs are not only (but also) beautiful at Easter. The pendants decorate flowering branches in the vase, but they can also be used as window decorations or perhaps as a small gift.

Craft decorative metal art has a long tradition in the gold and silver city of Schwäbisch-Gmünd. Already in the Middle Ages, master craftsmen made decorative pendants in the town. They were sawn out of metal, mostly brass, with a fretsaw - initially exclusively to be able to give them away cheaply. Over the years and decades, new motifs were added, so that the sideline with small gifts could become a main business. Today, the masters are increasingly using high-quality stainless steel for purely decorative objects instead of the more sought-after (and therefore more expensive) brass on the raw materials market - but the high art of their craft remains the same. For our supplier, the production of the jewelry pendants was only a hobby in the beginning, but out of enthusiasm for the traditional craftsmanship, the pastime became the main occupation. Now in the third generation, laser technology and machine punching have replaced fret saws in the business since the 1990s. All the finishing touches, gilding and polishing, however, are still carefully done by hand.
