The book is bound with open long-stitch thread sewing and can therefore be opened flat. Nice: the seam on the spine remains visible.

The set comes in a high-quality gift box and with all the materials needed to make the book: 2 sheets of DIN A5 card (270-300 g/m², terracotta) for the cover, 2 sheets of DIN A4 end paper (110-135 g/m², light blue), a cotton thread reel (1 mm, 45 m, color lilac) and 28 sheets of DIN A4 made from 100% recycled paper (100 g/m², premium white) for the book block. In addition: 6 sheets of DIN A4 scratch paper (80 g/m², 100% recycled paper) and 2 sheets of DIN A5 coated paper as a moisture barrier. Other bookbinding utensils: 3 strips of masking tape, bookbinding needle without tip, beeswax, threader, awl, folding bone, two staples and a toothpick.

Tip: The cover boxes are best fixed in place with a glue stick (not liquid glue). The finished notebook should then be left to dry overnight under weight (e.g. heavy books) with moisture barriers inserted.
