Make your own blueprints: This kit shows how cyanotype works and has everything you need to design 12 postcards yourself. The photographic process works without a darkroom: the paper is made light-sensitive using photographic chemicals. Where it subsequently comes into contact with sunlight, it turns an intense cyan blue. Where objects prevent contact with UV light, the paper remains white. Experimentation is expressly encouraged! Fine structures made of flowers and leaves provide exciting results as well as graphic shapes and self-designed patterns.

The set contains everything you need: detailed step-by-step instructions, the photographic chemicals, 12 postcards made from 10 x 15 cm watercolor paper, gloves, sink, measuring cylinder, mixing container and plastic stirring rod as well as a foam brush for applying the photographic chemicals to the paper.

Incidentally, the cyanotype was discovered back in 1842 and was used for a long time to reproduce technical plans and construction drawings.
