Most building clients have their own stories to tell about building mistakes. They delay completion, are the visible proof of sloppy work and cast a bad light on the honor of craftsmanship. And they often have negative health consequences. Mistakes come in many forms: the electrical socket behind the radiator, foam insulation oozing over the door frame or the drooping ceiling. The author of the following booklets, an architect – was confronted repeatedly with work mistakes, which he collected for his own use in a data bank. After gathering more than 400 different mistakes in a short period of time, he decided to make this knowledge publically accessible.
