Chair A-14

The chair par excellence - still unsurpassed today in its minimalist use of materials. Yet in terms of modernity and sustainability, it is more relevant than ever: six parts, ten screws, two nuts. The backrest and rear legs of the Type 14 are simply formed by two bent beechwood rods, screwed to the circular plywood seat without glue. It embodies all the advantages of bentwood technology: beauty of form, functionality, material savings, affordability and durability. The aesthetics of the A-14 are universal and timeless, and the enthusiasm for the processing technique is obvious. It is not without reason that the seating furniture has been in service in cafés as well as in private rooms since 1859. The shape of the chair, which has sold millions of units, has changed slightly over the years. Our version is made in Poland using the classic bending technique and regional woods. The bentwood factory in Radomsko was established at the end of the 19th century. Load weight: 100 kg.
