General Information
It can be used to store and transport all sorts of things: 70 liters in volume, as much as about 13 footballs or 3.5 toolboxes. With two carrying handles and shoulder strap, with drawstring to reduce the opening, foldable to about A4 size, maximum load: 20 kg.
Sustainability
Most plastics last an eternity. That's the good news and the bad news. They can be used to make long-lasting products. But once they're no longer needed, they're difficult to degrade.
ClassicBAG tote bags are made from just such waste.
The bag bodies are made of 100% recycled polypropylene (RPP), most of which is obtained from old refrigerators and other white goods. Only the handles and drawstrings are not yet made from recycled material.
The bags are manufactured by supplier waste2wear in China. The value chain can be traced via blockchain technology.
Even if the manufacturer still lacks a little bit to 100% recycled bag: they are as close as it is possible nowadays. And they are doing their best to ensure that the carrier bags can be produced entirely from waste.
Should it ever come to the point that the ClassicBAG is no longer usable, then it can be recycled quite simply via the packaging waste garbage can.
