For producing sparkling water at home: the AARKE CARBONATOR PRO. What makes it different from the standard version? It is the beautifully designed glass bottle that makes the PRO version special. Handling the water bubbler is child's play with both versions. And in the PRO version, it's the glass bottle that, filled with cold tap water, is screwed into the machine's receptacle and filled with gas from the cartridge seated in the housing with a flick of the lever. In this case, during the filling process, for safety reasons, a housing made of sheet steel lowers around the glass bottle to be filled. All this functions in an uncomplicated way and can be operated with one hand. The scope of delivery includes a glass bottle with a usable volume of 700 ml and stainless steel screw cap.

When two Swedish industrial designers take on the treatment of tap water: It shows!

Aarke makes water really good - the idea is as simple as its implementation is complex. Carl Ljungh and Jonas Groth, founders of the Swedish design company Aarke, are industrial designers through and through and have been dedicated to the treatment of tap water since 2013. This now very successful venture began with a real nuisance: in their search for a well-designed sparkling water maker, the two Swedish friends despaired at what was available. And not just in terms of aesthetics, but also in terms of function, choice of materials and production. The conclusion was as clear as it was quick: There's a better way - let's just do it ourselves!

Since then, no half measures have been taken under the Aarke name: Aarke develops and produces kitchen appliances - water bubblers, filters, kettles, coffee makers and even glasses - that work convincingly and look good to boot, with the highest standards for every detail and component, no matter how small. The clearly legible and pure design belies the complex inner workings: Carl Ljungh and Jonas Groth, together with engineers and technicians, scrutinize mechanisms, pipes and springs - lever action, pressure distribution and every last detail, take things apart, rethink and optimise until everything - from function to design - is exactly as it should be. So that the water is really good.
