The AARKE CARBONATOR 3 does what it is supposed to do: It bubbles water. It does this with high standards - in terms of the finished sparkling water on the one hand, and in terms of form, function, handling and materiality on the other. The basic construction of the bubbler, optionally made of polished or matt black powder-coated stainless steel and in the best industrial design, is slim, stable and takes up little space. The production of sparkling water is simple, the handling remarkably pleasant: the stainless steel bottle, which is only included in the scope of delivery of MAGAZIN, is filled with tap water, screwed into the precisely machined holder of the machine and filled with gas from the cartridge in the housing with a finely balanced lever movement. Unscrew the bottle again and you're done. The result is a fine bubble and, depending on the number of lever actuations, pleasantly gentle or richly sparkling water. Good: The bubbler is so precise and of such high quality that the product experience lasts a long time.

The supplied bottle holds 1000 ml and is perfect as a drinking bottle for on the go, daily commutes, excursions and at home. Specially developed for use with the sparkling water maker, the double-walled stainless steel construction is naturally suitable for carbonated drinks. The bottle is leak-proof, condensation-free and can be carried safely in a bag. Thanks to the vacuum insulation, the filled drinks remain at the right temperature for up to 24 hours. Suitable for the dishwasher.

Supplied without gas cylinder. The machine is compatible with CO₂ bottles from SodaStream, Sodastar, SodaMagic and Linde. In contrast to the previous model, the AARKE CARBONATOR 3 on offer here has a steel nozzle and end cap on the operating lever (as opposed to plastic on the CARBONATOR 2), an improved operating mechanism and works more quietly.

When two Swedish industrial designers take on the treatment of tap water: It shows!

Aarke makes water really good - the idea is as simple as its implementation is complex. Carl Ljungh and Jonas Groth, founders of the Swedish design company Aarke, are industrial designers through and through and have been dedicated to the treatment of tap water since 2013. This now very successful venture began with a real nuisance: in their search for a well-designed sparkling water maker, the two Swedish friends despaired at what was available. And not just in terms of aesthetics, but also in terms of function, choice of materials and production. The conclusion was as clear as it was quick: There's a better way - let's just do it ourselves!

Since then, no half measures have been taken under the Aarke name: Aarke develops and produces kitchen appliances - water bubblers, filters, kettles, coffee makers and even glasses - that work convincingly and look good to boot, with the highest standards for every detail and component, no matter how small. The clearly legible and pure design belies the complex inner workings: Carl Ljungh and Jonas Groth, together with engineers and technicians, scrutinize mechanisms, pipes and springs - lever action, pressure distribution and every last detail, take things apart, rethink and optimise until everything - from function to design - is exactly as it should be.
