Bed Hans

An elegant and filigree design: the HANS bed stands on fine steel legs that develop from the steel head and foot sections. These are connected to the two bed sides made of black-coated birch plywood and form a load-bearing unit. The headboard and footboard as well as the two sides are joined together using a slotted connection to prevent tarnishing. The interplay of the two materials, steel and wood, gives the bed a very delicate appearance, which is enhanced by the layered wood visible on the edges of the side parts. At the same time, the bed impresses with its stability and load-bearing capacity. The formally independent design is reminiscent of typical design features of the Ulm School in its choice of materials and construction. An extra-high headboard made of black-coated birch plywood is also available, which can be attached to the steel frame at the head end without the need for tools. We supply the bed sizes 140, 160 and 180 cm. The two wide beds are equipped with a central slatted base for slatted frames. The HANS bed is suitable for rollable slatted frames or slatted frames with an all-round fixed frame. We recommend the slatted frames from our range.
