Made from the material of French oyster baskets: shopping bag, large and wide cut for large-volume shopping at the market or as a work basket in the garden. With two large carrying loops, can also be carried over the shoulder.

These bags featuring a distinctive lattice-like weave come from La Rochelle on the French Atlantic coast. In fact, the striking material is traditionally used to produce oyster baskets. The Rochelaises use these baskets for raising the young oysters in the intertidal zones. Later on, the corves serve as a means of transport. They do their duty for decades and are indestructible even under permanent exposure to seawater and load. Their extreme durability and high load-bearing capacity recommend them for many other uses, such as storing or shopping.
