From the surface into the room: the APLAT table lamp - French for flat - is made from two sheets of thick paper, which are given volume by a few precise folds to form a sculptural, almost architectural luminaire body. The luminaire base, the pre-folded sheets of paper and a black powder-coated wire with hooks are delivered flat-packed - the metamorphosis from sheet to sculpture takes place on site in a few simple steps: set up the base, insert the wire, unfold the paper to form the body and position it on the base and wire.

The result is a minimalist lightweight and a sculptural solitaire - a contemporary take on the traditional paper lamp, including the characteristic diffuse, soft glow of light.
