From a flat surface to a three-dimensional form: The APLAT table lamp—French for “flat”—is crafted from two sheets of sturdy paper, to which a few precise folds lend volume, transforming them into a sculptural, almost architectural lamp body. The lamp base, the pre-folded sheets of paper, and a black powder-coated wire with a hook are delivered flat-packed—the transformation from a flat surface to a sculpture takes place on-site with a few simple steps: set up the base, insert the wire, unfold the paper into its shape, and position it on the base and the wire.

The result is a minimalist, lightweight piece and a sculptural standalone object—a contemporary interpretation of the traditional paper lamp, complete with its characteristic soft, diffused glow.
